Which laser cutter should I buy?
The answer widely depends on what you need to cut.
Laser cutters range from low power LED based engravers that can cut dark paper or engrave wood surface, starting around 100$ for the whole 2 axis router. Power range is 100mW to a few W.
To be able to cut thicker wood or acrylic you need to move to CO2 lasers, princing in the range of hundreds to thousands.
To cut metal you need much more powerful lasers with additional devices to remove melt materials, and prices in the range oh tens or hundred of thousands.
