Fiber laser cutting machines are some of the most powerful precision cutting equipment available. They are solid-state lasers that use a seed laser to amplify the beam with special glass fibers. They effectively cut metals, alloys, and non-metals such as glass, plastic, and even wood. In addition to simple cutting operations, they are also suitable for metal engraving and annealing. Fiber laser incisions are wider than other incisions; this may be why they are powerful. They have a lifespan of no less than 25,000 hours and therefore require less maintenance. They produce some of the strongest and most stable beams. However, they are best suited for materials less than 20mm thick.
